Future Release (Ver. 1.5)


Just a general update on the project.

Version 1.5 will be released sometime in the future and I'm planning to include two brand new episodes, add battles in previous episodes and add several bonus things like new modes.

As of now, I'm thinking about postponing this release in favor of completing the whole game sometime in summer. That way I'll be more focused on major things.

Right now, it's a full solo project and I'm coding, writing, translating on two languages and proofreading all by myself. The story is set in stone, but each new episode will be bigger and bigger in scale (the biggest episode will be "Episode 4" which will include "Character Switch" mechanic). That means it'll take more time. And even more time to polish things.

The 1.5 update will include:

  • Additional Episode 1 - Fallen Giant (Alyssa Ashcroft - "Raccoon Trials" - event from day before "Episode 1")
  • Additional Episode 2 - Midnight Ways (Ada Wong - "Relict upper floors" - events during "Episode 1")
  • Reworked "Mercenaries" mode (Boss Battle mode + stage select + unlockable characters with conditions)
  • Added battles in story episodes (Turn-based combat)
  • New story bits in Episode 1 (Added "Prologue - Myth")
  • "Umbrella's Game" mode (two difficulty setting)
  • Trader NPC (Accessible from the Main Menu - find collectables in story episodes and exchange them for something great)
  • Password system
  • New intro
  • New/updated graphics
